Ricky "Gator" Adam Begnaud

Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, July  7, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Ricky "Gator" Adam Begnaud, 70, who passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. 

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 PM until  9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 06, 2022, and continue on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 7:00 AM until time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM by Delores Hebert on Wednesday.

Deacon Butch Hebert will conduct the services.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery #2 in Breaux Bridge.

Gator was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many. He loved working, hunting, fishing, riding horses, bush hogging, and entertaining his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, lovable personality, and making sure everyone was having a good time when visiting his home. 

He is survived by spouse of 53 years, Mary "Sue" Begnaud; sons, Todd (Erica) Begnaud and Codey Begnaud; grandchildren, Corie, Cole, Luke, Skylee, and Jaden Begnaud; and great grandchildren,  Avah, Karter, and Reese Begnaud, and Kohen Noel. 

He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Irene Danos Begnaud; son, Corey Begnaud; and his brother, Michael Begnaud.

Pallbearers will be Todd, Codey, Cole, Luke and Jaden Begnaud, Roland Melancon, and Tyson Theriot.
