Ricky J. Hulin

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Ricky J. Hulin, 65, who passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016, in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Hulin was born on April 26, 1951 to Walter Hulin, Jr. and Mavis Desormeaux Hulin. He served our country in the National Guard and was president of Hulin Metals, Inc. Mr. Hulin enjoyed playing and watching golf, spending time with family and friends, but most of all he cherished having his wife by his side. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Touchet Hulin of New Iberia; daughters, Donna Hulin of New Iberia, Sherie Hulin of Breaux Bridge, Natalia Young Nguyen and husband Tyson of Slidell; brothers, Mark Hulin of New Iberia, Glenn Hulin and wife Penny of Zachary, Keith Hulin and wife Lisa of New Iberia, Miles Hulin and wife Dana of New Iberia; sisters, Jennifer Street of New Iberia, Julie Hulin of New Iberia; grandchildren, Samuel "Moy" Hernandez and wife Monique, Rik Hernandez and wife Layne, Brittni Hernandez, Taylor Vice, Reese Nguyen, London Nguyen; great grandchildren, Evan Hernandez, Jude Hernandez, and Emma Hernandez. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sedia Dore Desormeaux, Ferdenance Desormeaux, Cora Badeaux Hulin, Walter Hulin, Sr.; and a great grandchild, Eyan Hernandez.
