Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29 , 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Rita Belaire Mouton, 77, who died Thursday, December 27, 2007 ?at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St Bernard Catholic Church will conduct the service. Readers will be Barbara Melancon and Elaine Mouton. Gift bearers will be ?Joshua and Kayla Frederick. Ms. Rita enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and going to the casino every chance she was given. ??She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Toduce Mouton of Breaux Bridge; and her sister, Jo Anne Courville of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Clara Theriot Belaire; her brothers, Widley, Joseph John and Louis Belaire; and her sisters, Constance LeBlanc, Anna Belle Huval and Claudia Belaire. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 12:00 p.m. on Friday, and continue until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Easton Mouton, Bobby Mouton, Daniel Frederick, Jody Borel Quinton, and Nick Breaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
