Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Robert Lee Joseph Badeaux, 64, who passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Deacon Jim Davis will conduct the funeral service. Mr. Badeaux worked as a driller in the oil and gas industry for most of his life. Survivors include his son, Robert Paul Badeaux of St. Martinville; three brothers, Richard Badeaux of St. Martinville, Ron Badeaux of Lafayette , and Zerben Badeaux of California; and four step grandchildren, Stephanie, Sharyan, Madlyn, and Aaliyah. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Badeaux; his parents, Raymond and Ruby A. Badeaux; one brother, Wayne Badeaux; and his grandparents. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue at 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday. Pall Bearers will be Ronald Badeaux, Robert Paul Badeaux, Bill Garcia, ;Leland Baker, Andre Gautreaux, and Ed Laviolette. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
