Robert J. Bergeron

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at Henderson Bible Church Church in Henderson for Robert Joseph "Bobby" Bergeron, 55, who died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at his residence. Interment will follow at Henderson Bible Church Cemetery. Bobby was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Darlene R. Bergeron of Henderson; his mother, Bernice Girouard of Breaux Bridge; his son, Robert J. Bergeron of Henderson; his daughters, Michelle Dawn Bergeron, Amy Lynn Bergeron, Amanda Denicise Bergeron, all of Lafayette, and Gabrielle Faith Bergeron of Henderson; his step daughters, Krislyn Alysee Richard of Henderson and Sonia Hughes of Lafayette; his brothers, Mike Bergeron, Rusty Bergeron and Craig Bergeron, all of Henderson; his sisters, Carroll Sonnier and Susan Richard, both of Breaux Bridge; and his grandchildren, Triston and Trenton Bergeron, both of Breaux Bridge, Tyson Trahan, Brennan Trahan, Madison Venable and Zachary Hughes, all of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his father, Preston Bergeron. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Henderson Bible Church from 12 noon on Tuesday and continue until time of service on Wednesday. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the family of Robert Bergeron to assist in defraying the cost of funeral expenses.
