Robert "Bob" Thibodeaux

New Iberia - Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Robert "Bob" Thibodeaux, 66, who passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. A gathering of family and friends will be at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Thursday. Deacon Chris Doumit will be the Officiant. A lifelong resident of New Iberia, Robert "Bob" Thibodeaux was born on October 11, 1953 to the late the Albert and Lydia Poirier Thibodeaux. He was a 1972 graduate of New Iberia High School, and was disabled from a car wreck since he was 16. He enjoyed fishing, music, watching Western movies, and going to the casino. He will be deeply missed. Mr. Thibodeaux is survived by a daughter, Clarissa Tucker; brothers, Dalton J. (wife Ann) Thibodeaux, and Barry G. (wife Claudette) Thibodeaux; granddaughters, Sarena and Raelei Tucker; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Bellot Thibodeaux.
