New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Robert Chet Lennie, 43, who passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010 in New Orleans. ;
Interment will follow in St. Marcellus Cemetery in Rynella. ;

Robert was a truck driver for Live Oak Gardens and Earth Works. He was a member of the La Vie Pour Manger Cooking Team, the sons of the American Legion Post 335, and was active in the Boy Scouts. ;
Survivors include his wife Billie Jo Johnson Lennie of New Iberia; father, Horace Johnny Lennie, Jr. and wife Carol of New Iberia; mother, Barbara Bobbie Freyou Lennie of New Iberia; sons, Brandon Chet Lennie and Cameron Chet Lennie both of New Iberia; step daughter, Heather Faye Falgout of New Iberia; brother, Casey John Lennie of New Iberia; step brothers, Scott Ryan and wife Yvette of Youngsville, William Ryan and wife Cathy of New Iberia, James Ryan and wife Tara of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; step sister, Susan Ryan and fiance, David Belaire of Loreauville; godmother Polly Freyou Breaux of New Iberia; godchildren, McKenzie Paige Holland Lennie of New Iberia, Jay Michael Theriot of Youngsville; several nieces and nephews. ;
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Horace J. Nacko Lennie, Sr. and Anne Dartez Lennie; maternal grandparents, Ambroise Freyou and Clara Hebert Freyou; first wife, Tessie Faye Norwood Lennie; wifes parents, William Skeeter Johnson and Josie Faye Jeter Johnson. ;
Pallbearers will be Casey Lennie, Brandon Lennie, Scott Ryan, William Ryan, James Ryan, Timmy Mitchell, and Sid Barrilleaux. ;
Honorary pallbearers include Chris Beisser, David Belaire, Bobby Kappel, Bobby Broussard, Donald Guilliot, and Mike Richard. ;
A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM ;
