Coteau Holmes - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Coteau Holmes for Robert J. Treadway, 74, who died Sunday, August 20, 2006 at his residence in Coteau Holmes. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes. Mr. Treadway was a member if the V.F.W. He was known for his special talent of being a fine mechanic. On his free time you could always fine Robert fishing. He expressed his love on many occasions for the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Joan R. Treadway of Coteau Holmes; daughters, Judy Cosse' and her husband, Robert Cosse', Sr., of Belle Chase and Roberta Della Cruze of Port Sulphur; his brother, Morris Treadway of Mississippi; his sisters, Jeanette Treadway Cheron of Slidell, Jeanie Treadway Armstrong of Belle Chase, Fannie Treadway Pigniolo of Mississippi; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emile Treadway; one brother, Emile Treadway, Jr.; and his grandchild, Tiffiny Della Cruze. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 pm ~ 10:00 pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 and continue at 8:00 am on Wednesday , August 23, 2006 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday evening. Pallbearers will be Troy Carline, Dumas Dugas, Chad Gaudet, Morris Treadway, Robert Cosse, Sr., and Robert Cosse, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian and Lloyd Berard and A.J. Dugas. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
