Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Robin Wayne Hinrichs, 53, who died on Friday, January 1, 2010 in Breaux Bridge. Brother Joe Jenkins will conduct the service. An avid outdoorsman, Robin enjoyed long walks, fishing and camping, as well as watching sports, and playing pool. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Hinrichs, of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Robin Hinrichs Blanchard, Shawn Vallot, both of Breaux Bridge, and Byron Walsh and wife, Robin, of Shreveport; one daughter, Michaelyn Mikki Vallot, of West Palm Beach, FL; his father, LaVern Hinrichs, of Arizona; one sister, Randi Chambers, of Lakewood, WA; and 10 grandchildren, Haley Bourque, Kyley and Hunter Blanchard, Caylnn and Shayna Vallot, Heaven Sanders, Guess, Logan, Navy and Elaine Walsh; and one great grandchild, Saige. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn V. Hinrichs; a brother, Rick Hinrichs; his father-in-law, Alfred Joe Blanchard; and his step father-in-law, Paul Caruthers. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2010, until time of service at 7 p.m. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
