Robin Bertrand Neuville

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 12, 2024, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Robin Bertrand Neuville, 60, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Thursday.

Father Jason Vidrine will officiate at the funeral service. 

Robin was born on November 18, 1964, in Saint Martinville. Robin's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love for her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, whose greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones. Her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews were the apples of her eye, and she cherished every moment spent in their company, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. With her gentle spirit and sweet demeanor, Robin had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and cherished, a true testament to her generous heart.

Her passion for gardening and flowers mirrored her outlook on life-nurturing, vibrant, and full of beauty. Robin found solace among the blossoms, tending to her garden with the same care and dedication she showed her family. It was in these quiet moments among the petals that she cultivated her own inner peace, radiating joy that she would share with those around her.

Robin was more than just a family member; she was the beating heart of her family, the cornerstone upon which they built their lives. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and her entire existence revolved around supporting and uplifting others. Robin taught her family the values of kindness, compassion, and the importance of cherishing each other-a legacy that will continue to thrive through the lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Scott Neuville; daughters, Jenna Armentor (Zackary) and Brynn Borres (Brock); mother, Patricia Bertrand; grandchildren, Jax, Jasmine and Julia Armentor, Emma and Bennett Arnaud and Max Borres; brother, Larry "Possum" Bertrand, Jr. (Rachal); and her sister, Debra Landry (Alfred "Al").

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Bertrand, Sr.; brothers, Toby Bertrand, and Todd Bertrand; and her sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Bertrand.

Pallbearers will be Larry "Possum" Bertrand, Jr., Ian Bertrand, Tony Neuville, Neil Neuville, Jeremy Decourt and Bennett Arnaud.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Bertrand.
