Rocky James McGee, Sr.

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson for Rocky James McGee, Sr., 43, who died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at his residence. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Rocky loved rooster fights and riding his motorcycle and four-wheeler. His children and his grandchildren were the love of his life. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Comb McGee of Breaux Bridge; his mother and step-father, Verna McGee Barras and Noostie Barras of Henderson; his son, Rocky McGee, Jr. of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Tamekia Meche and her husband, Randall, Brook McGee and her fianc, Elridge Noel, Jr., Nekisha McGee, and Jill McGee and her fianc, Toby Cunningham, all of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Keith McGee of Arnaudville and Shane McGee of Henderson; his sisters, Shelia Dauphinet, Shelly McGee and Tamesha Johnson, all of Henderson; and six grandchildren, Triston, Treagon, and Taidum Meche, Hadan McGee, Landon Collette, and Sebastian Noel. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen McGee; his grandparents, Enole and Lucier McGee and Hazel Noel and Willis Dupuis; and his half-sister, Verlie McGee. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Keith McGee, Shane McGee, Rocky McGee, Jr., Danny Comb, Justin Angelle, and Sim Lasseigne. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Comb and Joshua McGee. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
