Rodney Searles

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Rodney Everett Searles, 61, who died Monday, March 28, 2005 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Searles was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Air Force. ?He was a member of the V.V.A. Chapter 141, American Legion Post 69, and the D.A.V. Chapter 2. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Broussard Searles of Breaux Bridge; four sons, Todd Searles, Michael Searles and Joshua Searles, all of New Jersey and Kevin Searles of New Mexico; one daughter, Heather Searles of New Jersey; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Beatrice Mowatt Searles; and his sister, Louise Southard. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8 AM on Wednesday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 10 AM. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
