VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, November 10, 2008, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Roger D. Cubby Bartee, 61, who passed away on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Gary Schexnayder will conduct the services. Roger was a 1965 graduate of Arnaudville High School. He worked at Baker Oil Tools for over 30 years as a Quality Control Inspector. He was a member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG). Survivors include his fiance, Bonnie B. Bonin of Youngsville; his son, Randy Michael Bartee and his wife, Heather of Carencro; the children of his fiance, Larry James Bonin and his wife, Leslie, Molly Elizabeth Chiasson all of Loreauville, and Jeffery Landon Bonin of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Alexander, Madyson and Lauren Michelle Bartee. He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Georgia Colon Bartee. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Tye Schexnayder, Rene Prejean, Mac Guidry, Clark Dalfrey, Kelly Johnson, Gilbert Standford, Randy Bartee and Larry J. Bonin. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Journet, Clay Hardy and Alexander Bartee. Special thanks to the 6th floor staff at Lafayette General Medical Center, Dr. Jody Rosson; nurses, Emily, Becky, Brooke, Sheila, Gina and Julie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stand Up for Heros. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
