Roger Dale Lormand

Cecilia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, on Monday, November 24, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Roger Dale Lormand, 54, who passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:30 am until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 12:45 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Angel LeBlanc and Dana Babineaux. Gift Bearers will be his three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Alyssa, and Payton Ordoyne. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Dale loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He enjoyed cooking with his family and was always the life of the party. Dale was a kind man who never had an enemy and he will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Mary M. Lormand of Cecilia; his daughter, Shelly Ordoyne and husband, Anthony, of Arnaudville; two brothers, Kevin "Kim" Lormand and wife, Joy, and Brian Lormand and wife, Robyn, all of Cecilia; three sisters, Brunella Thibodeaux and husband, Travles, Angel LeBlanc and husband, Francis, all of Breaux Bridge, and Dana Babineaux of Cecilia; and three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Alyssa, and Payton Ordoyne. He is preceded in death by his father, Bruno J. Lormand. Pallbearers will be Kevin Kim Lormand, Brian Lormand, Anthony Ordoyne, Cody Lormand, Travis Thibodeaux, and Timothy Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Travles T.J. Thibodeaux, Trent Thibodeaux, Francis LeBlanc, Maurice Castania, and Joe Robin.
