Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Roland John Dor, 62, who passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2. Roland was a skilled and talented carpenter who loved his work. He loved to cook and enjoyed having company over. Roland was well-liked by everyone who knew him and will be dearly missed by his family and friends, especially his twin brother, Ronald. He is survived by two brothers, Ronald Dor and his wife Marilyn, and David Dor and wife his wife Brickey; two sisters, Annette Delcambre and Lorraine St. Clair and her husband James; his sister-in-law, Sherline Dupuis Dor; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Vernes J. and Annie Lou Green Dor; his brother, Henry Dor; his sister, JoAnna Dor Landry and her husband Dalton Jules Landry; and his brother-in-law, Jerry Delcambre. Pallbearers will be Cale Dor, James St. Clair, Jr., Keith Delcambre, Duane Dor, Dylan Dor, and Austin Dor. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Dor, David Dor, James St. Clair, Sr., and Ralph Angelle.
