Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Roland "Yan" James LeGrand, 67, who passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Thursday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Yan loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his kids, grandkids, family, and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Wiltz and husband Chad, and Dawn Menard and husband Blake; his son, Codi LeGrand and wife Courtney; his grandchildren, Taylor and Skylor Wiltz, Kaylee Borel, Kade Menard, and Cameron LeGrand; his former wife, Fabian Clark; his brothers, Steve LeGrand and wife Mary, Russell LeGrand and wife Dianne, and Randy LeGrand; his godchild, Jolene Boudreaux; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Dallas and Enola Amy LeGrand; brothers, Joseph Dallas LeGrand, Gursey LeGrand, and infant brother; and a nephew, Jonas LeGrand. Pallbearers will be Codi LeGrand, Steve LeGrand, Randy LeGrand, Blake Menard, Chad Wiltz, and Travis LeGrand. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell LeGrand, Taylor Wiltz, and Skylor Wiltz.
