New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Ronald Boudreaux, 65, who passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, in New Iberia.
Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery.
Rev. Keith Landry will be the Celebrant.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 11:00 am Friday.
A native and lifelong area resident, Mr. Boudreaux was born on July 26, 1952 in Franklin to the late Sherald and Mary Rizzuto Boudreaux. He was the USDA County Executive Director for the Farm Service Agency for St. Mary and Iberia parishes. Mr. Boudreaux enjoyed flower gardening, working in his yard, playing racquetball, and helping farmers.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Breaux Boudreaux of New Iberia; son, Dirk Boudreaux and wife Melanie of New Iberia; daughter, Mandi Landry and husband Shane of New Iberia; brother, Paul Boudreaux and wife Annie of Franklin; sister, Marilyn Bright and husband Robert of North Carolina; grandchildren, Krysta Landry and Ayden Landry; sister-in-laws, Patti Breaux of Austin, Texas, Marsha Breaux of Austin, Texas; brother-in-law, Ricky Breaux and wife Darlene of New Iberia; nieces, Allyson Brinson, Robin Dowd, Renee Ishcomer; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant grandsons, Hunter Boudreaux, and Dirk Boudreaux, Jr., and a niece, Tammy Bright.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Breaux, Glenn Freyou, Jackie Judice, James Boudreaux, Shane Landry, and Ricky Breaux.
The family would like to give special thanks to Mr. Boudreaux's caregivers, Elaine Bourda, Lisa LeBlanc, and all of the neighbors and friends who were such a great help throughout this journey.
