Ronald Latiolais

BreauxBridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Ronald Joseph Latiolais, 77, who passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011. Father Allen Breaux will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Donna Latiolais, Melissa Patin, and Tina Green. His grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as gift bearers. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2. Mr. Latiolais honorably served in the LA Army National Guard from 1949 - 1958. He was a member of the American Legion, Thibodeaux-Pellerin Post 133, and the Pont Breaux Saddle Club. Ron was retired from the City of Breaux Bridge, where he worked as a liaison officer for several years. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Rosa Mae Cormier Latiolais of Breaux Bridge; his son, Craig Joseph Latiolais and his wife, Donna, of Parks; two daughters, Chyrl Faye Latiolais and Charlene L. Guidry and her husband, Jeff, all of Parks; his brother, John Jerry Guidry of Breaux Bridge, seven grandchildren, Laci Faye Laperouse, Jake Joseph Primeaux, Seth James Broussard, Miguel Joseph Latiolais, Joshua Roy Latiolais, Zachary Paul Latiolais, and Gabrielle Elizabeth Latiolais; and two great grandchildren, Jolie and Piper Laperouse. He was preceded in death by his parents, George 'Red' and Noelda Guidry Latiolais; and a granddaughter, Sadie Rose Broussard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2 p.m . until 10 p.m. on Wednes day and continue on Thursday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Craig Latiolais, Miguel Latiolais, Joshua Latiolais, Zachary Latiolais, Jake Primeaux, and Shaune Laperouse. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Broussard, Jeff Guidry, John Cormier, and his godchildren, Dwight Cormier and Shane Theriot. Pellerin Funeral Homeof BreauxBridge is in charge of arrangements.
