Ronald James Noel

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 10, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Ronald James Noel, 66, who passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017, at Rush Medical Group in Alabama. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am on Thursday and continue until 9:30 am on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Neil Pettit will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Kim Taylor. Gift bearers will be Kynnedi Noel, Payden McCarthy, and Ayden Taylor. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Ronald was born October 24, 1951. He graduated from Northside High School in 1969 where he also played basketball. After graduation, he joined the United States National Guard for several years. For over 30 years, he was a successful business owner in the crawfish industry. Ronald was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Judy Boudreaux Noel; his mother, Anne Noel; daughters, Lacey Noel McCarthy and husband Richard, Melissa Breaux and husband Ricky, and Kim Taylor and husband Geary; sons, Ross Noel and wife Summer, Todd Noel and wife Gabrielle, and Darven Boudreaux; his grandchildren, Kynnedi Noel, Payden McCarthy, Reagan Noel, Jacob Breaux, Seth Breaux, Zack Huval, Ian Taylor, Noah Taylor, Ayden Taylor, and Gavin Trahan; and his sisters, Kathi Noel Normand and husband Mark, and Patti Noel Benoit and husband, James. He was preceded in death by his father, Abby "Red" Noel; maternal grandparents, Cyprien and Beulah Guilbeau; and paternal grandparents, Romain and Etta Noel. Pallbearers will be Ross Noel, Todd Noel, Jacob Breaux, Seth Breaux, Ian Taylor, Noah Taylor, Ayden Taylor, Chad Deshotels, and Daren Deshotels.
