Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 pm on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Ronald Patin, 82, who passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm on Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 4:00 pm by Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert. Fr. Nicholas Dupre' will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1953 - 1964 and was a member of the V.F.W. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, dancing, cooking, and entertaining his family and friends. He is survived by his four sons, Teddy (Stephanie) Patin of Hot Springs, AR, Tommy (Terri Lynn) Dore of Breaux Bridge, LA, Ronald Patin, Jr. of Hot Springs, AR, and Elmo Hernandez of CA; daughter, Robin Marquez of Little Rock, AR; his companion, Janette Alleman; two sisters, Ethel Bergeron of Arnaudville, and Rebecca Sims of Breaux Bridge; 14 grandchildren, Aaron Boudreaux, Andie Boudreaux, Spencer Boudreaux, Christie P. Trahan, Ronald Patin, III, Shane Patin, Rachael Keeling, Jessie Keeling, Ali Marquez, Jack O'Conner, Joshua Theriot, Jenna Theriot, Jordie Dore, and Walena Hernandez; and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oleaus and Vinnette Champagne Patin; two sisters, Hermena Ann Dore, Helen Robin, and Sarah Fremin; and his daughter, Suzie Patin Boudreaux. Pallbearers will be Brian Patin, Teddy Patin, Tommy Dore, Shane Patin, Troy Patin, Tyler Patin, and Donny Patton.
