Ronnie Dean Gaspard

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Ronnie Dean Gaspard, 64, who passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018, in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Aaron Weido will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Pellerin Funeral Home. Mr. Gaspard was born on July 28, 1954 to the late Otis and Olampa Bourque Gaspard. He worked as a truck driver and he enjoyed race horses and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Guidry Gaspard; daughters, Windy Gaspard and fiance' Brian Pardee of New Iberia, Crystal Gaspard of New Iberia; son, Ronnie Gaspard, Jr. of New Iberia; brother, Paul Gaspard of Bull Island; grandchildren, James Gehrke, Jr., Dean Gehrke, Brandi Gehrke, Hayden Veron, Haleigh Gaspard, and Aden Laneaux. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Herman Gaspard, Harold Gaspard, Otis Gaspard, Jr., and John Gaspard; sisters, Theresa Hayes, Laura Simon, Marilyn Moneaux, Verla Gonsoulin, and an infant sister. Pallbearers will be James Gehrke Jr., Dean Gehrke, Blake Boutte, Shelby Hayes, Herman Gaspard Jr., and Kim Douet.
