Rosa Mae Clement

July 28, 1916 — March 4, 2007

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Rosa Mae Clement, 90, who died Sunday, March 4, 2007 in Houston, TX. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Clement's goal in life was to enjoy it with her children at her side and teach them to love with a complete understanding of life. She loved to dance and sit outside and wait for her grandchildren to arrive. Survivors include three sons, Edward Clement and his wife, Lucille of CA, O'neil Clement and his wife, Rosella of Houston, TX, and Walter Clement and his wife, Margaret of Texas City, TX; six daughters, Henrietta Clement of Breaux Bridge, Ramona Jacobs and her husband, Craig, Mary Lou Spencer, Leora Roberts and her husband, Willie, Leona Calais, all of Houston, TX, and Sarah West and her husband, Charles of Zambia, Africa; her brother, Jacob Nelson of Texas City, TX; her sister, Leona Solomon of Rayne; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Clement, Sr.; her son, Dudley Joseph Clement, Jr.; her parents, John and Josephine Joseph Nelson; her brothers, John and George Nelson and her grandchildren, Brian and Terry Calais. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be David Jones, Tony Clement, Frederick Clement, Walter Clement, Michael Clement, and Walter Clement, III. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
