Rosalie Hebert Little

New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2024 at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Rosalie Hebert Little, 82, who passed away on November 12, 2024.

Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery.

Deacon Josh LeBlanc will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Friday, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm, on Thursday.

Mrs. Little was born on January 19, 1942, in New Iberia, to the late Gabriel, Sr. and Octavia Moore Hebert, Sr. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, and she was also a member of the Crusin Cajuns. She and her late husband, Joseph, traveled extensively throughout the United States. Mrs. Little also enjoyed flowers and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Joseph "Joe" Little, Jr., Charles "Chuck" Little (Patrina),Missy Dugas, and Susan Gondran (Robert Griffin); brother, Gabriel Hebert, Jr. (Elaine Babineaux Hebert); grandchildren, Brittanie Dugas Boutte (Coy), Ashley Dugas Rodrigue (Jason), Nikki Dugas Sandoz (Tim), Alexie Dugas Latiolais (Lance), Hunter Dugas (Hannah Guillote), Ian Gondran, Victoria Gondran, Quintin Gondran (Ally), C.J. Little, and Abigail Little (Connor Johnson); great-grandchildren, Ashton Rodrigue, Nathan Boutte, Adalynn Boutte, Colton Rodrigue, Avery Chevalon, Kamryn Gondran, Collin Gondran, Aubreigh Chevalon, Vivian Rose Rodrigue, Rainey Latiolais, Bentley Gondran, Braxtin Gondran, and Adley Grace Chevalon; and her beloved dog, “Callie.”

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Little, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Gracie Elizabeth Boutte; and son-in-law, Glenn Dugas.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Dugas, Ashton Rodrigue, Nathan Boutte, C.J. Little, Quintin Gondran, and Collin Gondran. 

Honorary pallbearer is Colton Rodrigue.
