Rosalie Capritto Milazzo

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Rosalie Capritto Milazzo, 84, who passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at her residence. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Reverend Keith Derouen, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Mrs. Milazzo was known by all for her gentleness and the kind and loving spirit she possessed. She is survived by two sons, Salvadore Milazzo, of St. Martinville, and Joseph Milazzo, Jr. and his wife, Alberta Abshire Milazzo, of Carencro; four daughters, Mary Ann Milazzo Marks and her husband, Robert, Frances Milazzo Prados, and Betty Ann Milazzo, all of St. Martinville, and Janice Milazzo Hayek and her husband, Charbel, of Lafayette; two brothers, Charles Capritto and Michael Capritto, Sr., both of St. Martinville; one sister, Josephine Capritto Hollier, of St. Martinville; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Milazzo, Sr.; her parents, Salvatore and Frances Rumore Capritto; one son, Vincent Milazzo; her twin brother, Ross Capritto; and one sister, Frances Capritto Governale. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Salvadore Milazzo, Joseph Milazzo, Jr., Stacy Prados, Shane Milazzo, George Hayek, Michael Hayek, and Charbel Hayek. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
