Mrs. Blanchard loved her church with all her heart and was so devoted to her parish in every way possible. She was known to many as having a "Ministering Spirit." She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Martha's Guild, St. Martin Parish Home Demonstration, and POKENO club - she had a large circle of friends. Rose enjoyed reading and cooking for her family, whom she adored and who made her life complete. Birthdays and holidays were the times she enjoyed the most, because it was a way of gathering her family together and sharing her love with them.
