Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Breaux Bridge Pentecostal Church in Breaux Bridge for Rose Mary Brown Sylvester, 66, who passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at University Hospital & Clinics. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Breaux Bridge Pentecostal Church from 7:30 am until the time of service on Saturday. Rev. Jonathan Haygood will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Rose was a devout Christian and member of Breaux Bridge Pentecostal Church for many years. She always said her prayers and enjoyed listening to gospel music. Rose love cooking, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, Clifton (Doris) Sylvester, Jr. and Tyrone (Yolanda) Sylvester; daughters, Mary Sylvester and Lou Anna (James) Aguillard; sisters, Edna (Ulysses) Charles, Sue Anna (Harold) Aubert and Mary (Isaac, Sr.) Julien; brother, Felton Brown, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Ja'Nyah Auguillard, Destiny Sylvester, Ebony Sylvester, Maryah Thomas, Jamal Sylvester, Jaymien Zenon, Maysea Sylvester, Tyrick Davis Sylvester, Trevian Sylvester, Yakira Sylvester, Trevonte’ Sylvester, Yaziriah Sylvester, and Ya'Niah Sylvester. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Joseph Sylvester, Sr.; son, Leon Sylvester; parents, Samuel Brown, Sr. and Evelyn Gary Brown; sisters, Verda Brown and Nola Mae Brown Ames; and brothers, Nelson Brown, Louis Brown, Sam Brown, Jr. and Anthony Brown.
