Rose Robertson

Parks - Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 , at St. Louis Chapel in Parks, for Rose Savoy Robertson, 99, who passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 at her residence. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Fr. Brad Guillory, Pastor of St. Louis Chapel will conduct the services. Readers will be Rose Bolin and Tania Young. Gift Bearers will be Monique Dorsey, Pamela Gage, Rachel Atmore, and Carmalita Alfaro. Mrs. Robertson was a parishioner of St. Louis Chapel in Parks, where she was a member of the St. Louis Altar Society, Rosary Group, and the St. Paul Benevolent Society. Survivors include two sons, Kaiser Robertson, Jr. and wife, Eva, of Beaumont, TX, and Presley Robertson and wife, Joyce, of Huffman, TX; six daughters, Mabel Simon of Beaumont, TX, Mazel Ebow of Parks, Mae-Audry Warner and husband, Harry, of Kingman, AZ, Pearl Payne and husband, Paul, of Long Beach, CA, Delores Freeman and husband, Nathaniel, of Hampton, VA, and Verona Robertson of Parks; one sister, Madery Price of New Orleans, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kaiser Robertson, Sr.; three daughters, Savannah Laveck, Prenella Thibodeaux, and Emily Robertson; one son, Adam Robertson; her parents, Oscar and Julbertine Benjmain Savoy; two sisters, Louisiana Narcisse and Blanche Johnson; two brothers, Murphy and Jeffrey Savoy; and her two grandchildren, Linda Gage and Ricky Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday, September 10th, from 7 a .m. until time of service. Pallbearers will be Donald Simon, Kenneth Robertson, Kaiser Robertson III, Tazielwell Scates III, Ronald Thibodeaux, and Brandon Warner.
