Breaux Bridge- A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 14, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in for Rose Maryann Zachery, 19, who passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. PLEASE NOTE: The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 7:00 am until 11:00 am A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Ugochukwu Jerome Cletus SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at a later date. Rose was a Breaux Bridge Sr. High 2020 graduate. She was a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi, member of the Jr. Daughters, and was a Lector for mass. Rose enjoyed coloring, reading, and dancing to Zydeco music. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her mother, Yvonne Mercier; two sisters, Hillary Zachery and Laura (Princton) Harrison; brother, John Zachery; three aunts, Vivian Lindsey, Mr. and Mrs. George and Eva Diggs, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Mary Batiste; and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be George Diggs, Jacory Charles, Nathan Batiste, and Justyn Charles.
