VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Rosemae Collette Allemond, 83, who passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Reverend Fr. Chanh Nguyen will officiate at the funeral Mass. Mrs. Allemond enjoyed playing "Bouray," working in her flowerbeds, camping, watching old westerns on t.v., shopping, pleasure riding, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved and adored. Survivors include her daughter, Suzie A. Mouton and her husband, Reuben, of Youngsville; one brother, Linton "Palon" Collette, of Henderson; one sister, Alice Allemond, of Breaux Bridge; and four grandchildren, Tiffany, Beth, Rene, and Nicole Mouton, all of Youngsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Allemond; her parents, Will and Cecilia Hebert Collette; three brothers, Ames, Newton and Etley "Buck" Collette; and one sister, Dorothy Menard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
