, New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2006, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in New Iberia for Rosie Mae Crochet, 68, who died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Consolata Home in New Iberia. Entombment will be in Holy Family Mausoleum in New Iberia. Rev. Steve LeBlanc, pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral service. She is survived by three sisters, Mary A. Crochet of New Iberia, Mrs. E.J. (Stephanie) Touchet of Loreauville, and Mrs. J.C. (Gertrude) Romero of New Iberia; five brothers, Tilden J. Crochet of New Iberia, Joseph A. Crochet of Abbeville, Russell A. Crochet of New Iberia, Paul G. Crochet of Norfolk, Nebraska, and Malcolm J. Crochet of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adonis and Mae Blanchard Crochet. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 A.M. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
