Roskanda 'Ro' Anthony

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Union Baptist Church on Saturday from 7:00 am until time of funeral service. Pastor Darren Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Mary White, Dedra Wiltz, Racheal Benjamin, and Renese Anthony. Interment will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery in St. Martinville. Roskanda, better known as "Ro", loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, pampering herself, going to the casino, playing cards, eating boiled crawfish, going out with friends, taking selfies, making collages, and spoiling her nieces and nephews, especially her two youngest nephews, KJ and Zy. Ro was full of life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother, Mazel Alexander Anthony; her son, TaQan Thibodeaux; her brothers, Cody Anthony, Sr., Clifford (Lisa) Anthony, Horace (Theresa) Anthony, Jr., and Stacy (Cassandra) Anthony; her sisters, Rochanda (KenDraylon) Anthony, Renese (Eric) Stevenson, and Rose Anthony; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She also leaves to mourn eight godchildren, nanny babies, and nana babies, whom she truly adored dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Horace "Chune" Anthony, Sr.; her daughter, A'Johni Anthony; her paternal grandparents, Willie and Josephine Anthony; her maternal grandparents, Clarence, Sr. and Lily Mae Alexander; her uncles, Alton, Earnest, Wilton, and Joseph Anthony; and her aunt, Savannah Youman. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Willie Batiste, Malik Anthony, Paul Batiste, Cody Anthony Jr., Corey Anthony, Walter Anthony, Carter Joseph Jr., and JaKaylon Olivier. Honorary pallbearers will be TaQan Thibodeaux, Cody Anthony Sr., Clifford Anthony, Horace Anthony Jr., Stacy Anthony, Dillian Anthony, and Keyori Anthony.
