Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Roy Joseph Journet, 63, who passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in Houston, Texas. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 7 a.m. until 10:30 am. Fr. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The readers will be Paulette White, Madison Crawford, and Hailee Rossyion. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Survivors include his daughter, Monica Journet Brown of Houston, TX; his son, Kevin Gordon of Lake Charles; two brothers, Howard Journet of Houston, TX and Donald Journet of Arnaudville; three sisters, Mary Rossyion of Arnaudville, Rose Perry of Houston, TX, and Ethel Singleton of St. Martinville; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Corine Semere Journet; and his son, Jont Journet Pellerin Funeral Homeof Ceciliais in charge of arrangements.
