Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Roy Robert , 68, who passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Monday and continue at 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral service. Music will be provided by Pat Menard and Beth Hebert. Reading the scriptures will be Chase Webre and Allison Brasseaux. Gift Bearers will be Kaitlyn Hebert, Chole Webre and Cindy Luce. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Roy began his career in the oilfield. He was the founder and owner of Seafood International Inc. growing it into one of the largest seafood processing plants in the state. But more importantly, Roy was a wonderful husband and a devoted father of four daughters who were the focus of his life. He was married to his faithful wife Mary for 48 years. Roy loved his family above all things and was a loyal friend to many. He never hesitated to extend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. Roy will be sadly missed by his family, friends and associates within the seafood industry. May his soul and the soul of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Guidry Robert; his daughters, Denise (Tucker) Guidry, Jenise (Kyle) Kirkpatrick, Angela (Chris) Hebert and Michelle Robert, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Beverly Raggio Webre. Pallbearers will be Dustin Guidry, Dylan Guidry, Austin Kirkpatrick, Cy Hebert, Tucker Guidry, Christopher Hulin, Chris Hebert and Kyle Kirkpatrick. Honorary pallbearers will be Toby Webre, Charles Webre and Chad Webre.
