VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Roy Joseph Seneca, 58, who passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Fr. Chanh Nguyen, Pastor of Our Lady of Mercy Church, will conduct the funeral service. Mr. Seneca was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and crawfishing. He loved to cook and always looked forward to spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends. Survivors include his former wife, Sylvia Seneca, of Henderson; two sons, Kevin Seneca (Angela Myers), and Chenny Seneca (Sacha Hebert); two daughters, Sandy Meyers and her husband, Joey, and Jennifer Stelly, all of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Dennis Seneca, of Arnaudville, Wayne Seneca, of Henderson, and Clyde Seneca, of Lafayette; and 13 grandchildren, T. J. Vice, Amber Vice, Alanie Vice, Caleb Seneca, Gage Meyers, Austin Meyers, Laikyn Meyers, Trey Seneca, and Kade Seneca. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ran and Marie Dupuis Seneca; and a daughter, Nicole Seneca Vice. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. on Thursday and continue until 9:30 a.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
