Ruby Lora Biggs

Franklin - Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2006, at Crossing Place Fellowship, in Franklin, for Ruby Lora Biggs, 60, who died Sunday, September 17, 2006 in Franklin. Rev. Brad Bullock, pastor of Crossing Place Fellowship will officiate the service. Born on August 8, 1946, in Morgan City, Ms. Biggs was a Nurse, having for worked for Franklin Foundation Hospital for 11 years. A member of Crossing Place Fellowship, she enjoyed cooking and gardening. Survivors include her brothers, Robert E. Biggs and wife, Mary of Franklin, Donald L. Biggs and wife, Sharon of Lafayette; sisters, Gypsy B. Carpenter and husband, Jerry of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Sandra B. Naquin and husband, Paul P. Naquin, Jr. of Baldwin, Melinda B. Hall and husband, Michael of Thibodaux; 17 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Basil E. Biggs and her mother, Ruby Carson Biggs. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday at Crossing Place Fellowship from 12 Noon, until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to Center of Hope of Centerville, or the charity of your choice. Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia, 365-3331, is in charge of arrangements.
