New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday, June 17, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Ruby Maturin LeBlanc, 67, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in Lafayette . Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery . Born on May 18, 1944 in Youngsville, Mrs. LeBlanc enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Perry LeBlanc, of New Iberia ; mother, Gladys Bourque Maturin of Loreauville; sons, Kirk LeBlanc and wife Michelle of Lewiston, Maine, Kevin LeBlanc and wife Katherine of New Iberia; daughters, Shawndell Hebert and husband Dudless Hebert, Jr. of New Iberia, Lynndale Sonnier and husband Mark of New Iberia; brothers, Paul Maturin and wife Glenda of St. Martinville, Wakely Maturin, Sr. and wife Ramona of Milton, Norris Maturin, Jr. and wife Joy of St. Martinville, Dennis Maturin of Erath; sisters, Maedale Louviere and fianc Robert Neal of Loreauville, Penny Broussard and husband Scott of Youngsville; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and her beloved pet dog, 'T-Boy'. She was preceded in death by her father, Norris Maturin, Sr.; a son, Perry Jules LeBlanc; sisters, Yvonne Maturin, Katherine Champagne; and a brother, Audley Maturin. Pallbearers will be Kirk LeBlanc, Kevin LeBlanc, Kyle LeBlanc, Joshua Hebert, Harold Louviere, Jr., and Wakely Maturin, Sr. Memorial contributions may be made to Mrs. LeBlancs family. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 11:30 AM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday.
