Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Ruby Huval Menard, 91, who passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 7:00 am until time of service on Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Fr. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. She is survived her three sons, Harold James Menard and wife Rose of Poche Bridge, Jessie Menard and wife Belle of Breaux Bridge, and Norman John Menard of Breaux Bridge; four grandchildren, Lisa Cuevas and spouse Jason, Kris Jefferies and spouse Bob, Shane Menard, and Kelly Badeaux; six great grandchildren, Brandon Huval, Justin Jefferies, Cody Jefferies, Eric Jefferies, Renee' Badeaux, and Kyle Badeaux; two great-great grandchildren, Carson Huval and Riley Huval; a brother, Harry Huval; and three sisters, Doris Landry, Emily Angelle, and Mathilda Allemand. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denis Menard; her parents, Abby and Angelle Thibodeaux Huval; and her brother, Jessie Huval. Pallbearers will be Jessie Menard, Norman John Menard, Lisa Cuevas, Kris Jefferies, Shane Menard, and Kyle Badeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold James Menard, and Kelly Badeaux.
