Ruedale A. Meche, Sr.

Arnaudville - Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Pellerin Funeral Homes in Arnaudville, for Reudale Rudy Andrew Meche, Sr., 54, who passed away at his residence in Arnaudville. Deacon Harris Bergeron will conduct the service. Rudy retired from Eckstein Marine Services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the casino, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his sons, Rudell A. Meche, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Cecilia and Josh Meche and his wife, Carrie of Sunset; his daughter, Jamie N. Meche and her husband, John Ray Bernard of Lafayette; his brother, Jeffery Meche of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Melinda Hunger of New Orleans and Brenda Meche of Breaux Bridge; his grandchildren, Calea Meche, Emma Meche, Erin Theriot, Devin Bernard and Aziah Bernard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Meche and Bernice Robin Meche. A gathering of remembrance will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Miles Perret Center Cancer Services for Acadiana, 2130 Kaliste Saloom Road, Suite 200, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
