Russell "Kicker" James Ortamond

Breaux Bridge- A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Russell "Kicker" James Ortamond, 69, who passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Ochsner St. Martin Hospital.

 Russell was born on October 6, 1954 in Abbeville.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and working on cars.

 He is survived by his son, Matthew (Jasmine Ducote) Ortamond; mother, Ruby Bertrand Ortamond; sisters, Elaine (Brent) Romero, Kimberly (Kirk) Clulee, and Millie (Terry) Zeller; grandchild, Tobias James Ortamond; and his close friend, Diana Hernandez.

 He is preceded in death by his father, Morris Ortamond; niece, Paris Dugas; and his friend, Aubrey Quebodeaux.
