Russell Edgar Roy, Jr.

Breaux Bridge - Russell Edgar Roy, Jr., of Breaux Bridge, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009 at his residence, in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Roy received his Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, and was retired from Federal Electric Corporation as a Systems Anaylyst at Vandenburg Air Force Base in California. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Hazel Trouard Roy; two sons, Russell Edgar Roy, III, of Garden Grove, CA, and John Marc Andre Roy, of Upper Mountclair, NJ; three daughters, Shiela Roy Peck, of Lothian, MD, Susan Roy Bliss, of Albuquerque, NM, and Cynthia Roy Crosby, of Deming, NM; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell E. Roy, Sr. and Marie DeVillier Roy. Memorial donations in his name may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church, 219 E. Bridge St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was charge of arrangements.
