St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Ruth Dautreuil Boudreaux, 94, who passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm on Friday.
Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Louisette DeBlanc and Allison McLeary.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Ruth was born in St. Martinville, LA to the late Gaston and Yvonne Bienvenu Dautreuil. She was a devoted and faithful parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters for over 55 years. She was also a member of The Rosary Group and Martha’s Guild. Ruth did volunteer work at the church for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Norman Boudreaux and David Boudreaux and wife Caren; sister, Jeanette Broussard and husband Lee; grandchildren, Jake Boudreaux, Courtney (Kevin) Robbins, Matthew David (Kim) Boudreaux, Angela Kane, Zachary Boudreaux and spouse Tracy, Lindsey Boudreaux, Megan (Josh) Anderson, Allison (Lawrence) McLeary, Elizabeth Haynes, and William Haynes; and great grandchildren, Avery, Sawyer, Kaiser, Porter, Claire, Elizabeth, and Kate.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gaston Dautreuil; mother, Yvonne Dautreuil; son, Kenneth Boudreaux; daughter, Yvonne Boudreaux Haynes; granddaughter, Katherine Ashurst; brother, Gaston Dautreuil, Jr.; and sisters, Theresa Formeller, Rita Bulliard, and Adelia Murphy.
Pallbearers will be Jake Boudreaux, Matthew Boudreaux, William Haynes, Lawrence McLeary, Kevin Robbins, and Marcel Bulliard.
