New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Ruth Peltier Landry, 89, who died on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ralph Landry will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM Wednesday. ; Survivors include her sons, David Landry and wife Helen of New Iberia, Jeffery Landry and wife Liz of Loreauville; daughters, Susan Robinson of New Iberia, Mary Ruth Dugas of Broussard; sisters, Gerry Delahoussaye and husband C.L. of New Iberia, Jeanette Denny of Monroe; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband H.D. 'T-Bud' Landry; parents Adam and Enola David Peltier; infant son, Earl James Landry; sister, Joyce Lungaro; son-in-law, Larry Robinson. Pallbearers will be William Robinson, Trey Landry, Dylan Landry, Brent Joseph Alleman, Jr., Klint Leon, and Michael Shavell. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Consolata Nursing Home, and to the 2nd floor nurses at Iberia Medical Center for their extraordinary care and compassion.
