St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024, 1:00 pm at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, for Ryan Victor Foti, 68, who passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at his residence.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Saturday.

Rev. Jason Vidrine will officiate the memorial service. Readers will be Evan Eschete and Russell Foti.

Although Ryan's physical presence may have departed, his memories will forever linger in the hearts of his loved ones. Ryan leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that touched the lives of many.

A proud LSU alumnus, Ryan's passion for sports was undeniable, from cheering on the Tigers to being a dedicated New Orleans Saints fan. His love for angling, traveling, staying informed through Fox News, and managing his businesses, Foti Oyster Bar and E-Z Lock in St. Martinville, were defining facets of his vibrant persona. Known for his penchant for pecans, Ryan's jovial nature ensured he never met a stranger, making his community richer with each friendly encounter.

His journey on earth may have ceased, but the memories woven with love and laughter will sustain those he leaves behind.

Ryan's exuberance, kindness, and zest for life will forever be cherished by those privileged to have known him. May his spirit find peace in the arms of eternal serenity.

He is survived by his sons, Dominic Foti and Evan Eschete; brother, Russell Foti; sisters, Rose Foti and Rhena Laperouse; his ex-wife, Monique Foti; and several nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and Rena Boudreaux Foti; and his brothers, Robert "Bob" and Reid Foti.
