Samuel Brent Couvillier

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville for Samuel Brent Couvillier, 50, who passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 9:00 am until the time of service. Pastor Jessie Charpentier will officiate at the Funeral service. Interment will follow at Methodist Cemetery in St. Martinville. Samuel enjoyed collecting other peoples treasures, listening to music, entertaining family and friends and spending time with his children and wife of 14 years. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Mary Couvillier of St. Martinville, LA; two sons, Pierre P Couvillier and Samuel Couvillier, Jr. both of St. Martinville; three stepdaughters, Mia Franklin, Shandi (Zane) Day, Michaela (BJ) Romero all of St. Martinville; stepson, Seth Romero of St. Martinville; two brothers, Kurt (Glenda) Couvillier of AL and Craig (Angie) Couvillier of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Belinda (Tim) Darden of Franklin and Brenda Leigh Couvillier of St. Martinville; mother, Betty Couvillier of St. Martinville; grandchildren, Jason, Jr., Jaidyn, Dawson, Helayna, Zane, Jr., Kairi, Kaden, Dregan, Angelle, Gabrielle and Kyle; and one great grandchild, Keyori Anthony, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Couvillier, maternal grandmother, Edna Drummond. Pallbearers will be Samuel Couvillier, Pierre Couvillier, Coby Thibodeaux, Seth, Romero, Don Arnaud and Robert Orson.
