New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Monay, March 12, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Samuel Paul LaBit, 62, who passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 in New Iberia. ; Born on April 23, 1947, Samuel was the son of Percy Paul and Eula Duplantis LaBit. He worked for Price Supply Co. in Broussard. Samuel loved life and being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, barbequing and boiling crawfish. ; Survivors include his wife, Juanita Sanders LaBit of New Iberia; his sons, Randall LaBit and wife Donna, Chris LaBit and spouse Ashley, Cody LaBit, all of New Iberia, Kevin LaBit and fiancee Crystal Soriez of Abbeville; his daughters, Angela LaBit Boudreaux and husband Jason of Loreauville, Rebecca LaBit Musumeche and husband Patrick of New Iberia, Stacey Elizabeth LaBit of New Orleans; his brothers, Gerald Labbie of New Orleans, Cleveland LaBit, Jeffery Labbe, Roy LaBit, all of New Iberia; his sisters, Leona Rachel of New Iberia, Genevive Pierce of Alabama, Juanita Tyler of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Hayden, Trent, Kelton, Calvin, Kylie, Robert, Chrislyn, Spencer and Alaynia. ; In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Wilton LaBit. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 3:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.
