Arnuadville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. John Francis Regis for Sandra T. Broussard, 72, who passed away on September 8, 2023.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Arnaudville on Tuesday from11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Tuesday.
Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate the funeral mass. Readers will be Emily Hooks and Aryel Broussard. Gift bearers will be Fayth Taylor and Jordyn Olivier.
Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.
Born on December 20, 1950, Sandra was the epitome of grace and strength. Sandra was one of fifteen children, and her large family played a significant role in shaping her values and nurturing her kind spirit. She always held a special place in her heart for each and every one of her siblings, creating an unbreakable bond that lasted throughout their lives. Her childhood was filled with laughter, love, and stories that she carried with her throughout her lifetime.
A remarkable woman, Sandra's proudest accomplishments centered around her role as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family meant everything to her – they were the driving force behind every decision she made. As a mother, she exemplified unwavering devotion and selflessness; always putting the needs of her children before her own. Her guidance and unconditional love provided a strong foundation for them to flourish.
May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she made an immeasurable impact on the lives she touched. In our hearts, Sandra's spirit will forever thrive, a testament to a life well-lived and a heart overflowing with love and kindness.
She is survived by her children, Arthur Edmond Broussard (Holly), Scottey Ray Broussard (Amanda), Francis Paul Broussard (Kellie), Kelly Marie Broussard (Corey), and Christine Marie Guillory (Tommy); grandchildren, Emily, Justin Brandy, Jimmy, Jr., Fayth, Elliot, Jacoup, Holden, Courtney, Zoe’, Aryel, Tannie, Dylan, Cassidy, Hailey, Kylan, Rhemi, Alivia, Chanson, Bryson, Mason, Karson, Jada, Whitney and Mary; great grandchildren, Abbigail, Jordyn, Gabriel, Gabriella, Everly, Taegon, Tylon, Sawyer, Jaxson, Choen, Emmett, and Nola; siblings, Cheryl Courville, Mable Robin, Wanda Guidry, Louis Taylor, Thomas Taylor, and Leslie Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Broussard; son, John Paul Broussard; parents, Lolly and Eula Mae Lormand Taylor; siblings, Lester, Linda, Lisa, Lolly, Jr., Shirley, Rose, Carrol, and Wilma; paternal grandparents, Leo and Ella Taylor; maternal grandparents, Jerome and Bernadette Lormand; sons-in-law, Dwayne Hooks and Burleigh “J.J.” Guillory.
Pallbearers will be Holden Broussard, Dylan Broussard, Jimmy Gros, Jr., Justin Broussard, Mason Olivier and Karson Olivier.
Honorary will be Arthur Broussard, Scottey Broussard, Francis Broussard and Elliot Taylor.
