Sandra Jean Cormier

St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Sandra Jean Cormier, 70, who passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

Sandra lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and cherished memories. She dedicated her career as a Ticket Manager in the field of education, where she touched the lives of many.

A proud member of the American Legion for seven years, Sandra was known for her vibrant spirit. She had an adventurous spirit and loved the great outdoors. She loved to ride her motorcycle on sunny afternoons, enjoying the wind in her face. With her loved ones next to her (Coyote and Milo), she enjoyed fishing without catching a bite and just enjoying nature, floating in the great waters of Louisiana on the pontoon boat, sitting on the beachside enjoying great drinks with great friends, and cruising the coastline with her wonderful husband and her sidekick, Milo. Whether it was shopping for treasures or enjoying a cold drink with family and friends, Sandra filled her days with laughter and love.

She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Cormier; son, Shawn (Lauren Gautreaux) Miller; daughter, Jennifer Miller; step-son, Daniel Breaux; step-daughter, Heather Cormier; grandchildren, Macie Harman, Lillie Miller, Jacie Miller; step-grandchildren, Trenton Cormier, Evan Cormier, Alizabeth Dunckelman, Drake Funderburk, Brianna Cormier and Braylen Cormier; and her brother, Mike Mosher;

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruthmary Murray Mosher; brother, Jim Mosher; and a step-daughter, Trisha Cormier.
