St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Sarah Thibodeaux Louis, 90, who passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at her residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7:00 am until time of service on Saturday.
A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am on Saturday.
Rev. Michael Sucharski, SVD will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Danashia Louis and Kynnedy Louis. Gift Bearers will be Abigail Linden, Odelia Cole, and Tradeisha Cole.
Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Mrs. Louis cherished moments spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Kennedy Louis and wife Redell of Breaux Bridge, Winifred Louis and wife Marion of St. Martinville, Willie Louis and wife Darlene of St. Martinville, and Billy Louis and wife Wendy of Lafayette; daughters, Arlene Batiste and Ann Linden, both of St. Martinville; daughter-in-law, Demetra Louis of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Lamar Louis and spouse Raigyne, Korey Louis, Kynnedy Louis, Andrumater Linden, Abigail Linden, Johnette Vital and spouse Tyrone, John Cole, Jr., Odelia Cole, Sheth Batiste and spouse Bridget, Wildred Batiste, Danashia Louis, Dana Louis, Daniel Louis, Jr. and spouse Katie, Danielle Louis, Danilla Louis, Danny Louis, Crystal Batiste, and Nicole Joseph; 33 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Louis, Sr.; father, Martin Thibodeaux, Sr.; mother, Odelia Augustine Thibodeaux; sons, Paul Louis, Jr., Daniel Louis, Sr., and Amos Louis; daughters, Madeline Cole and Nancy Louis; brothers, Prestley Thibodeaux, Saul Thibodeaux, Martin Thibodeaux, Jr., Foster Thibodeaux, Chaffer Thibodeaux, Waker Thibodeaux and Abel Thibodeaux; and sisters, Laura Mason, Ara Roberts, Stella Thibodeaux, Sista Thibodeaux, Gold Thibodeaux and Money Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be Lamar Louis, Korey Louis, Wildred Batiste, Daniel Louis Jr., Kevin Joseph, and John Cole, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kennedy Louis, Winifred Louis, Willie Louis, Billy Louis, and Sheth Batiste.
