Scott J. Louviere

New Iberia - Private services will be held at a later date for Scott James Louviere, 64, who passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 3, 2019, in New Iberia. A lifelong resident of New Iberia, Scott was born on May 4, 1954, and formerly worked as an electrician and carpenter. He loved building things, and was very good at it. Scott was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. Scott is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Broussard and husband Keith of Jeanerette; sisters, Ginger Bourque and husband Rodney of Abbeville, Tina Lopez and husband Gerald of New Iberia, and Jennifer Adams of Alexandria; brothers, Rod Louviere of New Iberia, and Russ Louviere and wife companion, Deanette Simoneaux of Coteau; and a granddaughter, Lauryn Broussard. He was preceded in death by his father, S.J. Louviere; mother, Rena Marie Champagne Louviere Heflin; and brothers, Danny and Todd Louviere.
