Seaborn Michael Bryan

May 12, 1986 — February 8, 2019

Coteau - A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Seaborn Michael Bryan, 32, who passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville. Rev. Brian Harrington will be the Celebrant, assisted by Deacon Durk Viator. Jacob and Isaac Heyer will provide service at the altar. Family and friends are invited to gather at church for the Recitation of the Rosary, led by Robert Hicks, at 9:30am before mass. Seaborn will be remembered for the tremendous love of his children and family and his infectious sense of humor and laughter. He grew up fishing and shrimping with his dad and grandfather, enjoying fresh seafood every Friday evening with family. Helping his grandmothers prepare meals sparked his love of cooking for his own family. Just as they found joy in having family gather around the table, so did Seaborn. His simple, country upbringing shined throughout his life, especially on Saturday evenings listening to classic country music. Seaborn is survived by his father, Michael James Bryan and wife Kimberly Elias Bryan; mother, Donna Leleux Domingue and husband Edward Domingue; son, Seaborn Jacob “SJ” Bryan; daughter, Paislee Jean Bryan; girlfriend and mother of his children, Ashley Deville; sisters, Krystyna Bryan, Maggie Myers, and McKenzie Davis and husband, Caleb; a brother, Chuck Bryan; grandfathers, Charles M. Bryan and Donald Leleux. There was a special bond between extended family members, “son”, Braxton John Pinell; “sisters” Kara Kinsey and husband, JD, and Brittany Trahan and husband, Travis; “grandparents” Jimmy, Sr. and Phyllis Domingue; and the Elias, Domingue, and Deville families. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Deanna Bryan and Gloria Leleux. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Unexpected Pregnancy Center, P.O. Box 10326, New Iberia, LA 70562. Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560 (337-365-3331) is in charge of arrangements.
